One Soup, Two Stews, and Three Cultures Feb 26
We’re excited to welcome Jeanne Burns back to our kitchen with a traditional dish from Iran that tastes familiar and foreign at the same time!
Fesenjan or Persian Chicken Stew, features ingredients such as chicken and walnuts combined with fragrant spices like cinnamon, cumin and the sweet tartness of pomegranates and orange zest.
We’ll also explore the subtly sweet flavor of red lentils and warming Kashmiri spices for a versatile soup or stew.
These hearty dishes are served over rice that is simply done in one pan and makes these dishes feel like a special occasion! Come sip some wine, and enjoy a meal with friends.
Date: February 26
